I’m Dr. Georgia. I started this practice because the usual way wasn't good enough.

I provide integrative home veterinary care across Byron and surrounds: everyday medicine, acupuncture, senior and palliative care, and gentle goodbyes – the same vet through every stage of an animal’s life. I came to this way of working because I’d seen the alternative: rushed consults, stressed animals, and not enough time to do the job properly. Home veterinary care, given time, is better medicine. That belief is the whole practice.

I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011, and began in small-animal practice the following year. In 2013 I volunteered at an animal shelter in India, treating dogs, cats, monkeys, and farm animals. I then spent six years in practice across the UK, where I completed formal training in Western Veterinary Acupuncture in Glasgow – the discipline that has since become central to how I work, particularly with arthritic and post-surgical patients.

I’ve been living in Bangalow since 2020. Over the last two years I've combined in-home veterinary work with regular clinic practice – and the in-home side is where I've increasingly focused, because the difference it makes to animals, and to the families who love them, was impossible to ignore.
